This system is currently a one-of-a-kind Vauxhall special which means that 24 hours a day, 365 days a year you will always be put through to a trained advisor.

As soon as you have an accident which results in the airbag being deployed, your vehicle will automatically contact OnStar who will speak to you via the hands-free speaker phone as well as locate your vehicle to get help to you as fast as they can.
Stolen Vehicle Assistance:
Similar to the technology which can be used on smartphones, OnStar will help to track the vehicles location for you as well as provide a remote way of blocking the ignition rendering the vehicle immobile.
If you’re ever unsure of anything with your car you can call up the advisors who will diagnose what is going on with your vehicle which will save us all lots of time flipping through the manual trying to work out which light means what!
OnStar has the ability to get your vehicle online by providing fast and reliable internet connection whilst on the move, and if you’ve got plenty of passengers? Not to worry! OnStar will allow up to seven devices through the powerful roof antenna.

Finally, as OnStar allows such control over your vehicle it’s important you feel safe using it and Vauxhall have ensured you will be. Once you’ve registered for OnStar you can then set up a PIN number which means the functions such as unlocking and locking the car can only be done once you’ve entered them and as for tracking where your vehicle is, should you choose to this can be disabled and will only work should your vehicle be involved in an accident.
