Sales and Customer Service Trainer

We are a forward thinking, innovative and highly successful Vauxhall dealer group.  Over the past few years we have been recognised with several industry awards and have seen our business grow considerably.  We are now looking to recruit an in-house trainer with a focus on delivering foundation courses to our new Sales and Aftersales staff.

Key responsibilities will be:

  1. Develop and deliver training programmes to all new Sales and Aftersales team members
  2. Conduct monthly recruitment assessment centres in conjunction with the HR Manager
  3. Assist the HR team iwth induction and coaching during probation periods
  4. Keep up to date with training trends, developments and best practices
  5. Liaise with managers and General Managers following one to one reviews to identify training needs
  6. In conjunction with the HR Manager and General Managers, create an annual training plan.

Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Experience in Learning & Development, ideally Sales and Customer Service training (motor trade knowledge is desirable but not essential)
  • Experience and writing and delivering classroom based training
  • Experience of working in a multi-site retail environment
  • Good communication skills across all levels of the business
  • Flexible approach to working and travelling within London and Wiltshire
  • A CIPD qualification

In return for your hard work you will be offered a competitive salary and bonus, company car, pension and 22 days paid holiday rising to a maximum of 25 days with length of service.  Your basic salary is paid monthly and bonus a month in arrears.  The company has ambitious plans to further grow the business so this is a great time to join us.
